"Aleia compact" vertical digesters
Great performance on a small footprint
With an ALEIA compact biogas plant, you become your own energy supplier. You determine the price of your energy—starting today.
The ALEIA compact is one of the most compact small-scale plants available. The individual components can be assembled individually – depending on the needs and requirements of the farm. Thanks to its modular design, its performance can also be expanded at any time.
All modules have uniform industrial standards. This ensures smooth operation at all times.
Highest operational reliability
Our biogas plants are extremely reliable and require little maintenance thanks to their high degree of automation. State-of-the-art technology ensures process stability and enables an increase in the specific gas yield from a wide variety of substrates.
ALEIA vertical digesters operate at temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius in the thermophilic range. This unique process utilizes the high performance of thermophilic bacteria for fermentation and operates in two stages with upstream hydrolysis. This further increases the biogas yield. At the same time, the high temperatures guarantee the safety of the remaining fermentation residues and thus reliable further utilization.
Hygienization included – profitable recycling of organic waste
ALEIA compact plants can also process organic waste such as used fats, food scraps, or glycerin for biogas production. Thanks to its special process control and high temperatures, thermophilic fermentation is now also approved for the treatment of vegetable bio-waste without prior hygienization following the amendment of the Bio-Waste Ordinance (BioAbfV) in 2012. For you, this means that hygienization is already included in an ALEIA plant.
Groundwater protection
The ALEIA compact is also way ahead when it comes to safety. Since the biogas plant is built almost entirely above ground, leaks, e.g., in the fermenter, can be detected and eliminated immediately. The lower section of the fermenter has double walls, which prevents substrate from escaping. All containers that are filled with a pump are equipped with overfill protection devices in the ALEIA compact to prevent overflowing.

"Aleia geo" lagoon digesters
Innovative, but made from 100% tried-and-tested components, ALEIA geo represents a further development of today's fermenter and storage technology.
Thanks to its high-quality components, ALEIA geo combines groundwater protection and operational safety with low acquisition and operating costs.
ALEIA geo can be used both as a fermentation residue storage tank and as a fermenter. ALEIA geo is economical even with small tank sizes; with larger volumes, the cost advantages of ALEIA geo come into their own: savings of up to 50% compared to concrete or steel tanks.
Proven, reliable and safe
ALEIA geo does not require any concrete or steel walls. A double-shell geomembrane of landfill quality with a leakage control system is laid directly into an excavated earth basin and welded there using the “double seam method.”
ALEIA geo fermenters and fermentation residue storage tanks can be equipped with a gas-tight floating cover or a large-volume gas storage roof.
ALEIA geo is “landfill-grade” with an expected service life of well over 20 years. It can be stretched to 600 percent of its original size without leaking. It is resistant to UV radiation and aggressive substances such as manure and silage effluent.
